Welcome to Julian's website. This site was created to help keep friends and family updated on Julian's progress.

       Happy New Year 2010

1/18/09 WOW Time is flying....... Lots of happenings in the last couple of months. Kind of got side tracked in November knowing something was not right with Julian. On 11/17/09 Julian had a 40 minute seizure not controlled with medication. We spent a few days at BMC tried to get the studies done rather than coming back as previously planned. Good news...Julian is back to baseline.

Several things we are working on:
 1) Julian has been approved for a trial using eyegaze technology. Hoping this will be his form of communication! We might regret giving him a voice....You never know what will come out of the mouths of babes....lol

2) In December we traveled to the Brucker Center to see what biofeedback is all about. This centers focus is on children like Julian. Much to my amazement Julian responded to every questioned asked and was very receptive to the program. My gut feeling is telling me that we must return for the full treatment plan. Thanks to the money raised Julian and I are on our way to the Brucker Center on Feb. 1st for a 2 week treatment. The focus is Head, Trunk, Leg strength. I have also set up intensive PT when we return. Julian will be doing Lite Gait 4 days a week and Pool Therapy 1 day a week in addition to his regular scheduled therapies.
